I worked the evening shift at WLNE, so in addition to editing our broadcasts, I cut together topical promotions each night that would air during commercial breaks on channel 6.
Kickers:
One of my favorite parts of my job at WLNE was sourcing, writing, and editing “kickers” for the 11 PM news - the final story of the night that we would use send our audience out on a brighter note.
